Members of the Community 1st Sheffield team attended the NHS Sheffield Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 7 September 2011 and have met with members of the public, GPs, NHS Sheffield key stakeholders and employees, as well as representatives of various community and patient groups.
Our team presented the plans and visuals for the new primary care centres to be delivered by the LIFT partnership in the Darnall, High Wincobank, Norfolk and Foxhill areas of Sheffield. All the developments have received planning approval and are progressing through the final stages of the NHS approval process.
Visitors were able to view a map with all the schemes that Community 1st Sheffield has delivered in the area since its establishment in 2005 and get information about improvement and refurbishment works done to a number of medical centres.
The LIFT programme has delivered a range of health estate improvements across Sheffield that vary from brand new facilities to refurbishments and minor capital works to improve existing facilities.
Details of what we have achieved to date and what is planned for the future can be seen in the What’s happening in my area?” section of our new website.
