The brand new Norfolk Park Health Centre celebrated its official opening on Saturday 17th November with a family fun day for staff, patients and the local community.
The event included a range of activities, including face painting and balloon modelling for the children, taster relaxation and zumba classes for the adults, a free raffle, and circus skills provided by Green Top Circus. Members of staff were also on hand to give the public guided tours of the building.
Councillor Julie Dore did the honours for the official opening by cutting the traditional ribbon.
The new facility was developed by Community 1st Sheffield on behalf of NHS Sheffield and houses GP and primary care services as well a pharmacy in a state of the art, contemporary building. Community 1st is currently developing another three similar facilities in the Foxhill, High Wincobank and Darnall areas of Sheffield and these will open over the coming months.
